My Review of Kajabi

If you're just starting out with a Course and a business, you could do the Kickstarter Annual Plan (ends up about $33/month) which gives you 1 product (that's your Course!), plenty of landing pages for your free lead magnets and the pages you'll need to launch your course. You can also build your website and start collecting email contacts (up to 50 active).

If you plan to launch next year though AND you want to use Kajabi as your email service provider, I recommend doing the Basic Plan, which is about $60/month. Again, a STEAL. (Once you get over 1,000 contacts, you'll pay more than that just for your e-mail service provider.

On the Basic Plan, you can have 3 products (a course, a podcast, and a membership, for example), plus as many landing pages as you like AND up to 10,000 contacts.

IF you know you're going big the first year, and you'll have more than 3 products, plus you'll need automation for evergreen, and an affiliate program, that's when you'll need the Growth Plan. Also a STEAL at half off for the year. But I didn't need that until year 3.

Yes! Just make sure you sign up for Kajabi with the same email you used for Digital Course Academy. Amy Porterfield's free Sales Page and Webinar Registration Page and Thank You Page templates should automatically appear. If they don't, simply write Kajabi support and they will add it for you.

I recommend Canva (to create your graphics for your landing pages and Lesson Modules, your slide decks for your lessons, create your downloadable .pdf guides,get free photos, and even record your course, if you want to)

ScreenFlow (for macs) or Camtasia (for PC) is an easy video recording and editing software to record your course.

I also recommend buying a good microphone for recording your course, like a Yeti or a BluSnoball at Walmart will do just fine!

Other than that, everything you need is inside the all-in-one Kajabi and nothing costs extra:

Yes. This is true of any course platform you might choose. But if you want to put your Kajabi on hold because you're not selling your product for a season, you can contact them for a low Monthly fee to hold it for you.
